On site, backdrops can include tall brick facades with bright pops of color, the modern steel and cedar canopy over Mill 4’s entrance, or water a portrait along Open Square Way, with the canals in the background. One last popular outdoor wedding portrait location is the bridge over our raceway.

There are also incredible natural backdrops within one block on either side of our property. Off Dwight Street is Heritage State Park, which houses the historic Holyoke merry-go-round and some railroad tracks both of which can be styled by your skilled photographer to add an incredible graphic elements to your photos.
Off Lyman Street is the city of Holyoke’s Pulaski Park, which on the National Historic Register and was designed by the landscape architecture firm of Frederick Law Olmsted. Pulaski Park was originally named Prospect Park for it’s sweeping views over the Connecticut River.

Our indoor spaces are flooded with light due to the number of large windows designed to let light into the mill floors. So if the weather doesn’t cooperate, you’ll still have amazing photos for many many years to come.
